I'm Lulu

Welcome to my blog. I help everyone understand what it's like to be a cat!

Vegetarian?!

Vegetarian?!

I have very few things to look forward to each day: (1) Breakfast (2) Treats (3) Dinner (4) Watching Mommy clean my litter box (5) Keeping Mommy from making up the bed. The highlight of my week USE to be the delivery of something called Hello Fresh each week. Mommy use to make these dinners that looked really fancy. Usually they were chicken or steak or fish. And she would give me a tiny bite of the main course. Now when we get the boxes -- it's all vegetables. Mommy has decided that she should eat more vegetables, so she switched to the "vegetarian" box. What kind of crap is that?! I hate to tell Mommy this, but she spends a lot of time making food that looks pretty, but isn't the least bit appealing to me. She says she LOVES it. Of course, she does. Mommy likes to think that she's saving the planet one acorn squash at a time. But the truth is that the trees that it took to build that box that the food arrives in wipe out the "do good" mentality of saving the cow and the chicken. And while we're on the subject of food -- how come Mommy makes these elaborate meals for herself, but makes my dinner from a can? It seems to me that there should be a delivery box of home made meals for cats -- WITH TUNA!!!
